Sydney Airport Pickup GuideWhere to Meet Your Chauffeur at T1, T2 and T3

Exactly where your driver meets you at each Sydney Airport terminal, how flight tracking and grace periods work, and what a fixed-price transfer includes.

Sydney Airport Pickup Guide — Where to Meet Your Chauffeur at T1, T2 and T3

Sydney Airport (SYD) has three terminals that behave very differently. Knowing which one you land at — and where a private car can actually stop — is the difference between walking straight to a waiting vehicle and dragging bags around a car park.

T1 — International

Almost all international arrivals land at T1. After immigration and baggage, you exit into the Arrivals Hall on the Ground floor.

  • Meet and greet: your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall holding a name sign, near the exit from customs.
  • Kerbside option: if you'd rather walk straight out, we meet you at the Priority Pick-up area on the Departures (upper) level or the designated pick-up zone opposite the terminal.
  • Timing: allow 30–45 minutes from wheels-down to being outside for international arrivals — longer if you check bags or hit a busy immigration window.

T2 — Domestic (Virgin, Jetstar, Rex, Link)

T2 is the busier domestic terminal and the kerbside is heavily policed.

  • Meet and greet: we wait inside near the baggage carousels with a name sign.
  • Kerbside option: the Priority Pick-up zone directly outside arrivals — short stops only, so we time it to your call or text.
  • Timing: 10–15 minutes from landing if you have carry-on only; 20–30 with checked bags.

T3 — Domestic (Qantas)

T3 sits next to T2 and handles Qantas mainline domestic.

  • Meet and greet: baggage claim area, name sign.
  • Kerbside option: the pick-up lane immediately outside, same short-stop rules.
  • Timing: similar to T2 — Qantas bags are usually quick.

T2 and T3 are a short walk apart on the domestic side. T1 is on the other side of the airfield — allow 10–15 minutes to drive between them.

Flight tracking and grace periods

We track your flight number in real time, so an early or delayed arrival doesn't need a phone call from you.

  • Domestic: 30 minutes of free waiting after touchdown
  • International: 60 minutes of free waiting after touchdown
  • Delays: we re-time the pickup automatically — no rebooking fee

Fixed price, no meters

Every airport transfer is quoted per trip before you book, and that price is what you pay. It includes:

  • Meet and greet with a name sign (or kerbside, your choice)
  • Tolls and airport access fees
  • Luggage assistance
  • The grace period above
  • Child seats on request

There's no surge pricing, no per-minute meter, and no extra charge because your flight landed at 6am.

Which car for which trip?

  • Solo or couple, executive travel: Genesis GV80 — quiet, plush, plenty of boot space for two large cases.
  • Family or 4 passengers with luggage: Range Rover Sport or LDV Mifa Luxe.
  • Group of 5–7: Mifa Luxe people mover.
  • Arrival that needs presence: Mercedes-AMG G63.
